Agilent debuts LC/MS and GC/MS innovations at ASMS 2025, advancing lab efficiency, sustainability, and analytical performance.

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) will unveil its latest mass spectrometry innovations at the 73rd ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics, taking place June 1–5, 2025, in Baltimore, Maryland. Agilent is recognized as a global leader in analytical and clinical laboratory technologies, playing a pivotal role in advancing analytical science through its comprehensive portfolio of instruments, software, services, and expertise. Serving a diverse range of industries—including life sciences, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, environmental, and food safety—Agilent’s strategic initiative, Ignite Transformation, is driving operational excellence and innovation, further reinforcing the company’s leadership in the field.

Highlighting innovation at ASMS 

  • Agilent InfinityLab Pro iQ Series – Featuring the Pro iQ and Pro iQ Plus, these intelligent LC/MS systems support a wide range of applications, including the analysis of small molecules, oligonucleotides, peptides, and proteins. 
  • Enhanced Agilent 8850 GC – Now compatible with both single and triple quadrupole MS systems, the compact 8850 GC delivers high-speed performance in one of the smallest benchtop GC/MS systems available. 
      

Jennifer Gushue, associate vice president of LC/MS Product Marketing at Agilent commented on the  significance of these announcements:

Also highlighted at ASMS this year will be the InfinityLab LC Series Portfolio. Featuring the 1290 Infinity III LC, 1260 Infinity III Prime LC, and 1260 Infinity III LC, these systems are the first HPLCs to incorporate InfinityLab Assist Technology—offering built-in system assistance—and are My Green Lab Certified with the new Ecolabel 2.0. 

Visit Agilent at booth #305 to explore the Multi-Attribute Method (MAM) for streamlined biopharmaceutical quality analysis, along with the powerful MassHunter software suite. MassHunter Explorer enables rapid, non-targeted data analysis with advanced statistical tools, while MassHunter Qualitative Analysis software delivers robust compound identification and visualization—empowering scientists with faster, more insightful results.

Agilent events at ASMS 

Agilent will host two User Group Meetings on Sunday, June 1, at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards.

  • LC/TQ User Meeting: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Explore the capabilities of triple quadrupole LC/MS systems with insights from Agilent experts and customers. 
  • HRAM User Meeting: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Discover the power of high-resolution accurate mass (HRAM) instruments, including ion mobility (IM) and electron dissociation (ExD)-enabled Q-TOF systems. 

Agilent will also host breakfast sessions from Monday, June 2, through Wednesday, June 4, during which key customers will present their research. There will be two concurrent sessions each morning, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., at the Baltimore Convention Center, in rooms 336 and 341/342.
