Uncovering biomarkers in inflammatory disease

Combining advanced single cell multiomics tools helps researchers reveal hidden triggers of inflammatory skin conditions.

Cellular indexing of transcriptomes and epitopes by sequencing (CITE-Seq) is a cutting-edge sequencing method that allows simultaneous profiling of gene expression and protein markers within individual cells. Combining CITE-Seq with other advanced techniques, such as B cell receptor (BCR) and T cell receptor (TCR) profiling and image-based cell sorting, opens avenues for understanding complex immune responses. In this webinar brought to you by BD Biosciences, Gisele Baracho will discuss how she integrated these techniques to uncover key T cell subsets that drive systematic inflammation in psoriasis, leading to deeper insights and new biomarkers for inflammatory diseases.

Topics to be covered

  • Exploiting full length TCR sequencing and CITE-Seq technologies to examine potential biomarkers and cellular targets in psoriasis
  • An end-to-end approach for isolating and characterizing pathogenic T cells in psoriasis and related diseases without invasive skin biopsies

Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Eastern Time
This webinar will be available to view live and on demand.
