Charge variants are critical quality attributes in biotherapeutics, influencing stability, biological activity, safety, and immunogenicity. While imaged capillary isoelectric focusing (icIEF) is widely used to separate charge variants, additional characterization methods are needed to identify the molecular changes underlying these differences.
In this webinar, Arnaud Delobel and Nicki Zhang will discuss how icIEF fractionation workflows can enable the collection of separated isoforms for downstream characterization using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and other analytical techniques, with examples spanning fusion proteins, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and adeno-associated viruses (AAVs).
