Response Genetics, Genetic Technologies to distribute molecular diagnostic tests globally

LOS ANGELES—Response Genetics Inc., a developer of moleculardiagnostic tests for cancer, and Genetic Technologies Ltd., a private genetictesting laboratory in Australia, announced in January an exclusive distributionand services agreement under which Genetic Technologies will become theexclusive distributor for Response Genetics' ResponseDX Colon, Lung and Gastricgenetic test panels in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines,Singapore and Thailand. The tests are proprietary PCR-based tests used toanalyze the expression of genes that correlate with response to commonly usedchemotherapy agents. Financial terms were not disclosed.
