SAN DIEGO, Calif.—Illumina Inc. has announced its contribution of more than 8,000 associations of somatic genetic alterations — variants linked to tumors — to the Clinical Interpretation of Variants in Cancer (CIViC) resource, an openly accessible database which can be used in precision medicine.
