Fluxion appoints AutoMate as BioFlux distributor

SAN FRANCISCO—Fluxion Biosciences, a developer of microfluidicsystems for cellular analysis in life sciences research and drug discovery, inmid-September announced that it had signed a distribution agreement withAutoMate Scientific. The distribution agreement covers Fluxion's BioFluxplatform for studying cellular interactions, such as the study of biofilms andcellular adhesion. 
"AutoMate Scientific is an ideal partner to distribute theBioFlux system," says Mike Schwartz, product manager for BioFlux systems atFluxion. "They have developed a well-deserved reputation for deliveringtop-quality products and service to their customer base."

"We have a strong presence in the life science researchmarket and the BioFlux platform makes an excellent addition to our othercellular research tools," Joe Cordes, president of AutoMate.
