ROCKY RIVER, Ohio—DrugDiscovery News, an international news organization that reports on trendsand developments that impact the business of drug discovery, announced todaythe launch of the ddn Cancer Research Portal, your gateway to the latest oncologynews, trends and resources. 

 
The news portal, a website housing all of ddn's cancer-related coverage to date,was launched in response to a sharp increase in ddn's oncology news coverage in the past two years. It can beaccessed at www.ddncancer.com. 

"The journalists of ddnrecently took a look at how much of our news coverage involves oncology,and we were stunned to learn that in the last two years, our cancer-relatednews stories have doubled," says Amy Swinderman, chief editor of ddn. "Today, cancer research dominatesnearly every section of our newspaper and other news vehicles. From diagnosticsto R&D and everything in between, cancer is clearly a hot topic."
 

The ddn Cancer Research Portal givesreaders immediate access to all of ddn'scancer-related coverage, as well as featured news and spotlights on some of theindustry's oncology leaders and links to various companies, research centersand organizations dedicated to treating—or even curing—cancer.
 

"This new resource will showcase all of our cancer-relatedcoverage, feature some of the industry's oncology leaders and serve as a bridgebetween you and the cancer community," said Swinderman.
