ROCKY RIVER, Ohio—Drug Discovery News (ddn), a news organization focused on covering issues,trends and product news that impact decision makers in the pharmaceutical drugdevelopment and discovery industries, announced today the winner of the 2010 ddn Apple iPad contest.
 
The winner is Ekaterina Pestova, an R&D program managerat Abbott Molecular, a division of Abbott Laboratories. Pestova managesdevelopment of new Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization diagnostics (FISH) testsfor solid tumors. Her ongoing projects include drug companion diagnostics aswell as bladder, esophageal, gastric and lung cancers. She also has severalresearch projects in prostate cancer and lung cancer.
 
Pestova entered the contest by subscribing to ddn at the American Association for Cancer Research's(AACR) 101st Annual Meeting 2010, held April 17-21, 2010, inWashington, D.C.
