Polyethylene glycol (PEG) polymers have been used widely to attach to biotherapeutic molecules to improve in-vivo drug delivery. Recent studies have shown that PEG itself is also capable of eliciting immune responses in patients. ANP has developed a universal double antigen bridging PEG IM ELISA that can detect antibodies to PEG polymer adducts of various sizes and linking groups. The kit includes all reagents for the assay, along with an anti-PEG monoclonal IgM antibody (ANPEG-1) as a positive control. The ELISA kit is best suited for immunogenicity testing of PEGylated proteins with molecular weights of the PEG segment ranging from 10 KDa to 40 KDa.
