Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.

Thermo Fisher Scientific announces the availability of the Thermo Scientific Active GTPase Pull-Down and Detection Kits to measure the activation of numerous small GTPases. According to Thermo Fisher Scientific, the kits are highly efficient in the pull-down of active small Ras, Cdc42, Rac1, Rho and Rap1 GTPases from multiple samples. Individual kits are available for the detection of each of these. Each Active GTPase Pull-Down and Detection Kit provides the appropriate downstream effector for a specific GTPase immobilized on resin, enabling affinity purification of the specific GTPase using a convenient spin-column method. The resulting purified small GTPase can then be detected by Western blot analysis using the supplied GTPase-specific antibody. All Active GTPase Pull-Down and Detection Kits contain sufficient optimized reagents for 30 pull-down assays and include positive and negative controls.
