Integrating analytic technologies
LONDON—InforSense Ltd., a provider of embedded enterprise intelligence, recently announced that it will integrate BioWisdom's SRS bioinformatics software into InforSense's workflow analytics platform. The integration will enable customers to automate and improve their bioinformatics analysis. As part of the agreement BioWisdom will join the InforSense Open Workflow Partner Network.
"SRS provides a specialist healthcare search interface to hundreds of databases and has built in analysis tools which users will now be able to leverage in the InforSense KDE platform," says Dr. Michael R Stapleton, CBO of BioWisdom. "The integration is a result of strong customer requests for the two systems to be used together."
BioWisdom's core business is a suite of software tools for the acquisition, integration, visualization and high-value analysis of healthcare intelligence. The company has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries with proven expertise in life science software development.
For InforSense, the deal with BioWisdom is just the latest in a string of partnerships that has grown the company's Open Workflow Partner Network to more than 40 companies. The aim of the program is to provide InforSense customers with vital third-party tools for research, all within the InforSense operating environment.
"InforSense's workflow capabilities provide a flexible environment to rapidly develop and deploy scientific applications," says Dr. Jonathan Sheldon, CSO of InforSense.
"Bioinformatics groups will now be able to quickly build advanced sequence analysis workflows in InforSense using the full power of SRS analysis tools and database querying," he says.
